The Central Alabama Association of Health Care Recruiters is your network for the latest issues and trends relevant to healthcare recruiting in the Birmingham area. As the local chapter of the National Association for Health Care Recruitment, we connect you to your peers and to the information and insights that make a difference.

CAAHCR meets bimonthly to bring together an invaluable network of recruitment professionals and provide a forum in which to discuss the practice of health care recruitment and retention issues within Central Alabama.

During 6 regular meetings per year, members and guest speakers address such issues as:

Health care trends
Health care legislative issues
recruitment / Retention
Employment and labor relations
Career growth and development
Marketing strategies

CAAHCR meetings are held bimonthly in February, April, June, August, October and December. Mark your calendar and join us at our next meeting.

If you would like to become a member of the CAAHCR network, please CLICK HERE and print out the application. This should be mailed with your check, made payable to CAAHCR. Dues are for a calendar year from January 1st - December 31st.

Although we may be competing for applicants, our organization as a whole shares a common goal: to continue to meet the needs of our patients and their families. Together, we can attract a higher number of qualified professionals and ensure their retention to help bring the overall quality of healthcare in Central Alabama to an even higher level than we currently enjoy.
