Credential Examination

The NAHCR Credentialing Examination, developed in conjunction with and administered by Cross Country University, provides professional Health Care Recruiters and Human Resources Professionals the opportunity to earn the credentials, Certified Health Care Recruiter (CHCR).

Credentialing provides professionals the opportunity to demonstrate their professional knowledge and skill set.

The National Association for Health Care Recruitment provides leadership and support for the health care recruiting profession through advocacy, education, and professional development. NAHCR is a non-profit, 1,050-member national professional association offering facility-based health care recruiters and human resource professionals information, education, and networking.

Cross Country University, a division of Cross Country Staffing, serves healthcare professionals by encompassing various systems, methods and tools that enhance their knowledge, ensure their competency and build their professional portfolio.

Cross Country University’s learning opportunities are offered on a 24/7/365 basis using principles of adult learning and capturing today’s world of electronic media. Cross Country University, a division of Cross Country Staffing, Inc., is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Cross Country University is an approved provider by the Florida Board Of Nursing, provider #50-3896.

Requirements

Minimum two (2) years experience as a health care recruiter

Recertification Process & Requirements

You must meet one of the two methods for recertification:

Repeat the examination every two Years

OR

Demonstrate participation in at least 15 contact hours of continuing education provided by an appropriately credentialed and recognized provider of continuing education in areas of recruitment, human resources and health care

General Examination

The exam is offered on the Tuesday of the Image Conference.
                    
The Exam consists of 200 questions developed by the NAHCR Credentialing Advisory Board. The exam can be completed in approximately 2-3 hours, but must be completed in one sitting, in the
presence of a NAHCR appointed proctor.

Exam Fee: $395 for members and $595 for non members
