How many members does KCAHCRA currently have? – 25-30
Can you share any best practices (how KCAHCRA achieved gold status/continues to be a NAHCR chapter)? We meet consistently throughout the year and have provided annual scholarships to local nursing students as well as held a yearly career path event for local high school students.
What's the best part of KCAHCRA /what sets them apart from other chapters? The networking and connections we are able to make with each other and the ability to come together to support our community. We appreciate our partnerships with our institutional members and their support as well. Supporting our local communities and impacting high school students by showing them the varied careers you can have in healthcare.
Anything else you’d like to add? Our local chapter covers the regional Kansas City KS and MO areas. Additionally, our chapter President attends the NAHCR conference free, paid for by the association.
