Why are you interested in serving on the NAHCR Board of Directors? I believe that NAHCR is the premier association for health care recruitment professionals. I want to leverage my seven years of leadership with a non-profit organization to help others within this industry advance their practice, elevate our profession, and take pride delivering on our mission.

From your perspective, what are the three most important priorities that NAHCR should pursue during the next two years? Membership growth, membership retention, and increased sponsorships/vendor partnerships.

As a member of the Board, how will you contribute to realizing these priorities?

  1. Create a marketing campaign that targets TA professionals outside of hospital and health-system (e.g. home health, long-term care, kidney care, retail/community pharmacy, optical etc).
  2. Launch a boomerang campaign to re-engage former members.
  3. Expand advertisement/sponsorship/webinar opportunities for existing vendors while exploring new partners (e.g. AI companies, Consulting firms, etc.)

What is your vision of how NAHCR can influence the practice of health care recruitment? NAHCR has the potential of introducing legislation at both the local and state level and influencing health care executive association members to ensure economic opportunities and protections are given to members of our profession. In addition, highlighting SME successes on social media and publicly available platforms will enhance the image of a health care recruiter and can create an avenue of employment for those starting out in their careers.

How has your NAHCR membership contributed to your practice of health care recruitment? I've been exposed to new technologies to help improve my recruiting and have built relationships with individuals outside of my normal scope of business that has allowed me to grow my network.
